The UWF Military & Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) serves as the leading campus advocate for military, dependents and veteran students, working to ensure the needs of these individuals are met through coordination with multiple University offices and services.

Memorial Day Observance Ceremony

University Commons (Building 22) Auditorium
The Military and Veterans Resource Center invites all students and the general public to the Memorial Day Observance Ceremony on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. in the Commons Auditorium. Hear from guest speaker Navy Capt. Scott "Mongo" Janik, commanding officer of the Naval School of Aviation Safety. The event will honor and recognize the fallen, MIA, and POW, and the theme is local veteran memorial parks and monuments. RSVPs are encouraged.
